Captain George Wilson has sailed Aliento from the coast of California west to Hawaii, south through the Panama Canal, north to Boston, south again to the Caribbean. He brought the boat to East Hampton, NY in 1989. From there he has sailed to Ireland, south to the Canaries, back to the Caribbean, before returning home. His last voyage was sailing up the Hudson River.

In between these voyages, Captain George has been running a thriving day charter business out of East Hampton Point Marina in Three Mile Harbor. With its wide teak deck, beautiful lines, and ever reliable 85 hp Perkins engine, the Aliento makes a perfect 12 person charter boat. Its distinctive red sails are a common sight, silhouetted against the setting sun, as the boat returns from a day, afternoon, or evening of chartering.
